Celestial Voices - What is Excellent Mediumship?

Mediumship is the practice of using a paranormal ability to gather information not usually known on a conscious level. There are many forms of mediumship demonstrated by many kinds of mediums. The basic premise for all demonstrations should be the same, that is to comfort the mourner by proving survival after death, to heal the sick and to teach and inspire the truth seeker. This may sound like a monumental task but, I assure you, if you are serious about demonstrating excellence in your practice of Spiritual Mediumship you can do so.
Any demonstration of mediumship requires energy and effort. Why not direct that effort toward a demonstration of genuine paranormal phenomena?
The first step in striving for excellence is to seek proof and evidence of your ability to give a message of paranormal nature. Something you could not have known by ordinary means. Seek to provide names, dates, events, descriptions of physical characteristics or appearance of the person you are giving the message from. Provide as much detail as you can, even the appearance of a single rose may carry significance to the person receiving the message. The accuracy of your message should be verified by the person receiving the message. This will often strengthen the link between the medium and the sitter and make the reading more meaningful. Remember that what you receive may not have meaning to you but may be very evidential to the sitter. If you receive a message that contains information about a future event always remind the sitter that the future can be changed by the application of free will. What the sitter does with a prediction is their responsibility.
It is always good practice to remind the sitter that they bear the responsibility for what effect the message has on their life. In my practice I do not address issues that pertain to medical diagnosis and treatment or financial advice. Those issues should be addressed by competent professionals in those fields. I also do not give my personal advice on relationships. I will only say what the world of spirit tells me. This leads me to the final area to be addressed pertaining to excellence in mediumship. How to give messages rooted in Divine Truth and Reality.
This is the most difficult task you will face. The achievement of this goal requires two abilities. First, you must always link with a Spirit Guide or Spiritual Teacher who communicates from the Higher Planes of the Spirit World. This will keep spirit entities from the lower astral planes (the planes of illusion and delusion) from entering your open channel. Second, you must find a source of knowledge that pertains to an understanding of Natural Law, Universal Principles and The Golden Rule and study these things until they become a part of your waking consciousness. This is a lifelong project but, it is the only way you can reach the level of excellence you are capable of. So read, study, practice and live your Highest Spiritual potential in your daily life. It is my belief that the demonstration of excellence in the practice of Spiritual mediumship can be a major force in the Spiritual Upliftment of Humanity.
